Legendary guitarist and vocalist Leslie West, who was an original co-founding member of Mountain, has died at the age of 75.
Rolling Stone confirmed the news with West's brother, Larry West Weinstein. They also reported that West "suffered cardiac arrest at his home near Daytona, FL on Monday and was rushed to a hospital, where he never regained consciousness." The cause of death, however, has not been made available yet.
Dean Guitars also reported the sad news on their Facebook page and said, "With a heavy heart, we are saddened to hear about the passing of Dean Artist and part of the Dean family, Leslie West. Legendary and one of a kind. Rest In Peace."
