Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey Tests Positive For COVID-19

Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey announced on Twitter today that he has tested positive for COVID-19. In the tweet he said, "I got the Rona hopefully I’ll be back healthy soon."

According to ESPN, Humphrey missed practice on Wednesday of last week with an illness before returning to practice on Thursday and Friday.

The Ravens released a statement saying that the player (they did not mention a name) "immediately began to self-quarantine, and our organization is now in the NFL's intensive protocol."

Humphrey did play in the Raven's loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday, so Steelers also released a statement.

Spokesman Burt Lauten said, "This morning, the NFL informed us that a Baltimore Ravens player tested positive for COVID-19. Our results from Sunday's testing have all come back negative."

"We will follow the NFL's Intensive Protocols and take precautionary measures at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to ensure the safety of our players, coaches and staff remain our highest priority."
