Duquesne Incline Closed Until Friday Morning Because of Bedbugs

The bedbugs are back inside the Duquesne Incline!

They had to close it down again on Wednesday afternoon (10/2) at 3pm after more bedbugs were found. An exterminator is in the process of treating the cars and station of the incline. It is supposed to reopen on Friday morning at 5:30am.

According to the TribLive, Port Authority will operate a shuttle bus from the upper station on Grandview Avenue to the lower station on West Carson Street.

It was also closed earlier this week after a woman counted 102 bedbug bites after a trip on the Duquesne Incline.

The Monongahela Incline was also inspected for bedbugs this week and none were found.
